Learn To Swim With JJ Swim School
Why should my child learn to swim?
Swimming is not just a great way of keeping fit, but is also a valuable step in increasing
the safety of children in and around water. Although water can be fun, it can often
be dangerous, so equipping your child with swimming skills; they will grow up with
the knowledge of what to do and not to do if situations ever occur. This is a point
recognised by the Government and National Curriculum. There is no escape from water
and by developing a child’s ability to swim, they will enjoy themselves safely.
You’re never to young or old to learn to swim. We have lessons for babies as young
as 4 months through to adults.
JJ Swim School will teach your child to swim using the Amateur Swimming Associations
national plan for teaching swimming, as well as adding peace of mind for you and
your child. Being able to swim can open a whole new world, offering the chance to
participate in other water based activities or progress to competitive swimming.
At JJ Swim School, Justine Mileusnić and Jodie Kantas are both experienced and qualified
swimming teachers, both holding full teachers certificate in teaching swimming. Both
continually attend professional developments and regularly attend training courses
to stay in the forefront of the latest teaching techniques.
Our classes deliver lessons for 50 weeks of the year through 5 10 week courses. Our
teacher pupil ratio is very low allowing us to work with small groups (4 in a group)
